Think, Eric, Think!

I was meaning to make short note of this earlier because it totally blew me away when I saw it. Now it’s already on Slashdot. A Swedish game company, Agency 9, together with a subsidiary of SAAB, has synthesized a full 3D model of Stockholm. Every building, every street. From aerial photography. Can’t wait until Google and the other big guys (maybe this is what Tele Atlas should be doing?) roll this out for the rest of the world. Next thing we know we’re playing real-time strategy games in our hometowns…
