RadioLab is radio at its finest. In this (short) episode they interview David Cope, who is famous for his experiments with AI-generated classical pieces. The part where a choir sings a choral generated by his “EMI” struck a note with me, a painful reminder of how difficult it is for us humans to separate style from structure–if such a separation can be said to exist at all…
